See my post to the GA on 2/8 where I answered a similar question by Joe.

Basically, as part of the  .org migration, PIR is still running a thin
registry (limited Whois data). FOr detailed and authoritative whois at the
current time you must contact your registrar of record. After PIR
transitions all of the registrars to EPP 7.0 the anomalous Whois output your
mentioned will be resolved.
