"Perhaps we should offer each registrar 1 vote for each domain name they sponsor."
====
With the new 128-bit DNS systems, each Second-Level-Domain Owner has one vote.
They vote by selecting, using and renewing their names. Some view that as a democracy.
The artificial Accredited Registrar-Registry Multi-Level-Marketing structure fades away.
That was a creation of the U.S. government's Department of Justice and Department of Commerce.
It might be useful for creating the next-big-.COOP, but little else.
The focus shifts to the **owners** that support the Registries and the companies that help to support the Registries. Several
companies can work together to make sure that TLDs and the owners are supported.
