Vittorio and Ester,

It is true that the ALAC have made the right noises lately.
Wendy Selzer said good things things about new gTLD introductions. Maybe 
there is hope.

But the fundamental problem remains . Making the right noises for a while 
is the easy part and will not make you "the real voice of the users" .
Not without an open representational structure that can nominate, elect and 
dismiss your spokespersons.
