Re: [nc-org] The TF roster

I'm sorry, Cary, you're mistaken.

Let me remind you that Philip asked me to not have two
members of the gTLD constituency involved at all. It was
I, as Chair of the TF, who extended the initial invitation to
Roger to help with observations and responses to questions
about the current situation of ORG. As such, I am the person
who will determine the conditions under which we avail ourselves
of his comments and expertise.

It is, again, a simple matter of fairness. There are many
other constiteuncies that might like to have two people on
the TF, but we must be consistent in our treatment of all.

Anyone can see the archived emails, and if you want to forward
them to Roger you are free to do so. But full participation
will be restricted to one representative from each constituency.

Elisabeth, please correct the situation.

The letter that Philip addressed to the entire Names Council,a nd
was thus reveived by Roger, states quite clearly that he regards it
as appropriate for Roger to be invited to join the TF as an
observer. There was no suggestion that he only be asked to comment
on selected tidbits. Elisabeth's initial action was thus correct.

Milton, for clarity;
I suggest that Cary should be the gTLD nominee to the dot org TF and
that as TF chair, you invite Roger as an observer, co-opted for his
expertise.

Philip
