[nc-transfer] results of vote for Transfer TF Chair

Dear Transfer Task Force members,

The Task Force has voted using the simple email vote as set out below to
formally validate who they would like to Chair the Transfer Task Force.
The two Options presented were:
Option One:

1. Confirm Marilyn Cade as the TF Chair. [THIS WILL CONFIRM MARILYN CADE AS
THE CHAIR OF THE TASK FORCE] RESULTS WOULD BE ANNOUNCED MONDAY, FEBRUARY 18.

Yes____   No_____

OR
Option Two
2.  Nominate candidates VIA EMAIL and hold an election by email within the
next two weeks. THIS WILL RESULT IN A PROCESS TO GATHER NOMINATIONS, AND
THEN HOLD A VOTE PROBABLY IN ABOUT 7-10 DAYS ON ALL NOMINATIONS.

Yes____ No______

The voting was as follows:

10 votes for option 1
 1 vote for option 2
3 TF members did not vote

Thus, if the task force is satisfied with the vote and agrees that a simple
majority indicates the choice, option 1 succeeds and Marilyn Cade is
confirmed as the Transfer TF Chair.
