RE: [nc-udrp] The Kind of Thing That Amazes
John et al-
You will be pleased to know that you can now file your responses online for
UDRP, STOP, RDRP, and ERDRP proceedings at the Forum. Complaints can also
be filed online under those policies. See
http://www.arb-forum.com/domains/UDRP/index.asp for examples of online
filing under the UDRP.
Although this may not be completely "on topic" for the UDRP Task Force, I
felt it was worth closing the loop on this particular matter.

------
The Forum now offers online filing for STOP, UDRP, and RDRP Complaints.
ERDRP online filing is also available for .NAME Complaints. In addition to
online Complaint filing, the Forum also offers online Response filing to
Respondents involved in STOP proceedings. Expect to see online Response
filing for UDRP, RDRP, and ERDRP disputes available within weeks.

...or when we get around to it.
Is there anyone who believes offering disparate levels of convenience to
Complainants and to Respondents accords with any definition of "fair"?
The Respondent has less time than the Complainant, and here the NAF offers
online filing for the Complainant, but the Respondent will, um, have to wait
a few weeks.
There is no reason why both could not have been introduced at the same time
when both were ready, but is anyone surprised that the NAF offers online
filing for complainants only?
Could you imagine a court doing this?
