The last time that I checked with Louie we were in a credit situation. The
issue of increasing dues to $750 as discussed in Yokohama was to make for
this years expected short fall since the constituencies fees were going from
$5,000 to approximately $19,000.

I will contact Louie and verify our account status today.

Thursday it was pointed out that certain constituencies were deficient
in their payment of the $13,642.86 (due from each constituency by 31st
March 2000) for the DNSO fees.

Whilst appreciating many members are working hard on other matters, it
may be prudent (at a political level) to ensure that the Registrar
constituency has paid ICANN in full, in the very near term.

PS. The budget is due to be discussed at the next tel conf (mid
September) with certain constituencies wanting to impose penalties on
those deficient constituencies.
