To all registrars participatingon the conf call.... Estimated time 1 hour. eg
18-30 to 19-30 EST Thursday 8th March

Here's a draft agenda of the call.

i) Roll call - every person must identify themselves and they must be ICANN
Accredited Registrars.  No callers will be allowed who are not ICANN
Accredited Registrars.
ii) Brief presentation by Verisign Staff
iii) Questions to Verisign staff - who will then leave the room/call
iv) Proposal to identify the common position of ICANN Accredited Registrars
concerning draft Agreement
issues: (the issues listed are very much an overview to stimulate discussion).



Separation of Registry and Registrar Yes / No
Re-evaluate cost recovery structure  Yes / No
$200m development fund.....
Competition issues  - discuss specific points raised.....
Presumption to renew .COM Registry Agreement

The issues raised from this call will then be submitted to the ICANN
Registrars Constituency meeting (to be held on Sat - Melbourne) to see if
Constituency members endorse the consensus of the Tel Conf Call.  If the
Constituency can arrive at a consensus position, a brief report will be given
by the NC reps during the DNSO meeting on Sunday....

I am arranging for ICANN to give the Names Council - DNSO - a brief
presentation/explaination.
ICANN Staff will be asked by NC members to address specific questions relating
to the negotiations during the DNSO - (Sunday meeting) ... so if you have any
specific questions please let Erica, Ken or myself know.
