[registrars] Domains expiring *because* of NACK by NSI/Verisign
Dear all,
We are seeing a growing number of cases where repeated NACKs by
NSI Verisign caused domains to expire. NSI then rejects transfers
on the grounds of "not in paid status".
That practise is anti-competitive. NSI undisputably has a dominant
market position with respect to domains that are up for renewal.
Therefore, whether or not the existing contracts formally disallow
it is not relevant - especially as these contracts were imposed by NSI.
Regards,
Werner
