To both you and the RC list, I have one problem:

I read:
``The RC cautions that no change in protocol (such as from the RRP to
the EPP) should occur AT THE SAME TIME as the registry transition in
order to minimize the risk of unanticipated glitches in the registry
operations.''

This is great, and I agree.

But I also read:
``The new operator is encouraged to switch the time stamps and
accounting cycles to UTC for the sake of global consistency
throughout the annual cycle.''

I am not sure to understand it (my English sometimes...) but I am
against ANY change in handling of dates during the switch. After,
ok, as written in the above paragraph, but not at the same time as
the change of operator.

Sorry if this is already what is written and if I misunderstood.
