RE: [registrars] And the future registry operator for .ORG is ????
a couple of quick notes from my review this morning...
/n
-----------------------------------------------------
Interesting group of companies -- the only three with backing in the civic
society seem to be ISOC/Afilias, GNR/Red Cross and UIA/Verisign.
The rest seem like organisations made up for the purpose of the bid.
Register.com has two applications -- The DotOrg Foundation and Register
ORGanization, Inc..
They've registered dotorgfoundation.org in the name of Seth Jacoby, a
register.com employee, and registerorganization.org in the name of a
RegistryPro employee.
theorgfoundation.org has been registered in the name of one of eNom's
employees.
unityregistry.org is listed with Poptel as registrant.
