it says "unless automatically generated by the registry". Incidentally
with no registry does a registrar communicate the expiration date. The
above para does not refer to sending a renewal command explicitly if the
customer asks us to renew. If that were the case then the auto-renew
system would fail, since the contract would require us to send an
explicit renewal command if the customer chose to renew within the 45
day auto-renew period, which would end up renewing his domain name
twice.....
