Quick correction Rob. It is not a loss for them, just for you.

Subject: [registrars] personalnames.com opens at a pricepoint of $14.95
I see that PersonalNames.com just opened their site, and are offering the
dual registration of both email and domain name for $ 14.95 per year. They
drop down to $10.99 per year if you buy multiple years (which is currently
below cost).
So much for the GNR horseshit over the last year about "its a premium
product", "it will support a premium price".
And so much for GNR claiming they are only using their new registrar to
"test different marketing styles". I guess they need money desperately, so
they are starting with "lets sell them at a loss, because we make up for it
in volume" type of business model.
Sigh.
Rob.
