RE: [registrars] Nominations open for ICANN Board seats 13 and 14 for 14 days
Elliot:
I cannot disagree with the unique qualifications of Vint, and the great job
that he has done for the entire Internet community. Obviously as someone
that is considering running for this same seat within the GNSO, it is sad
that there can be only one GNSO representative from North America. Much like
in the competition between you and Henning I believe the registrars will do
well in either case.
Hopefully Vint is secured a seat on the board through either the GNSO or the
nominating committee. Because you are still running for this nominating
committee position it would best under the objective criteria of the by-laws
not to public advocate a specific candidate just yet.
