This voting is for interim Names Counsel representatives. There will be

the end of the post testbed period. The primary task of these representative
will be to vote on the WIPO recommendation made in Berlin. However, all

When do we vote?
Voting is scheduled to close at midnight EDT on Friday June 18th.
What are the voting restrictions, if any?
The constituency group has decided to honor the geographic diversity rules.
That means that no more than one Names Counsel representative can come from
the same geographic region. People that have voted to date (22%) have
elected to select one person from each geographic region. There has been
some confusion about being able to vote for the best candidate regardless of
geographic location and then choosing the person from that geographic region
with the most votes.
Will there be an election teleconference? Can future teleconferences be
marked urgent...or at least differentiated somehow?
I do not think there will be a teleconference just for the election. I try
to give as much notice as possible with the teleconference. Any suggestions
on improving awareness/participation is always welcome
Any problems give me a call directly so that I can answer your questions. +1

Jason Hendeles
