Have they checked the passports of all candidates?  Do they realize that 
U.S. Green Card holders must pay taxes the same as citizens?  Or that those 
of us in Japan who are designated "teijusha" or "long term residents, if we 
have the misfortune to also be U.S. citizens, must pay the taxes of both 
countries?

So they even care?   I think not.
