There is enough lawsuits based on trademarks occurring. Until the laws are more established, there shouldn't be any NEW Extensions. We now have .CC to work with and that has 90% availability. There are other Old extensions that are being used, like .to, .md, .ws, .tv, and more like that. There are plenty of names left in those alternates!
