[comments-gtlds] "...all decent dot com names are taken..."

From: Steve Lichti <stevel@value.net>

"I would like to take the opportunity to voice my opinion of the current
internet name structure. As a small businessman, I have looked for a
dot com name that would be both easy to remember & could also bring in
curious new customers from all over the world. This is very difficult
when all decent dot com names are taken..."

Steve,

Have you tried using a DLD (Dash-Level Domain) ?

Below are some of the top DLD choices and the number
of companies using them. This is from a recent survey.

STEVE-ONLINE.com was not taken as of today.
That will also give you STEVE.ONLINE in IPv8 servers.

We are working to make sure that DLD names are
"grandfathered" as TLD names as the name space is
expanded with more liberal root name servers than the
legacy root name servers controlled by the U.S. Department
of Commerce via their ICANN and ARIN creations.
