.TV domains are not registered on a "first come, first served"
basis. A signed Domain Name Request Form along with a
Deposit is required to request a .TV domain. If two or more
parties request the same name, that name will be awarded to
the highest bidder in a fair and open auction or by another
method chosen by The .TV Corporation. Unsuccessful bidders
will receive a full refund of their Deposit.
This process is another measure to deter domain name speculation.
