[comments-gtlds] gTLD extensions: who benefits?

I hope the solution to additional gTLDs isn't simply more extensions.  The following is taken from a registrar's web site, and we can see who will profit!


"Register your name in all three extensions (com, net, org) to create a stronger online identity and keep your competitors from using it. "
