[comments-review] [wg-review] [DNDEF] DOMAIN NAME DEFINITION et al.
A significant discussion occured on the DNDEF topic on the WG-Review.
Where is the mention of it?
Whatever happened to the primary reference issue of all the "work"
which has been produced by the WG? Let's face it, if there were
no domain names... where would all of us be, right now? Maybe
this question is too simple for such a complex group? I don't rightly
know...
But, I am beginning to get slightly frustrated here...
Is there some kind of group mnemonic lapse happening here?
How is it possible to overlook the obvious? to side-step reality,
and believe nobody can see what you're doing...!?!
Also, I am starting to feel quite uncomfortable with what has been
selectively elicited from this WG. I wish to make it clear that I
am unequivocally against the Constituency organization of the
DNSO...
Theseus killed Procrustes on the way to Athens, and I
don't want to sleep in anybody's ready-made bed. The clear
majority of this WG is for the abolishment of the Constituency
structure of the DNSO. This has to be recognized, any
subsidiary remarks or sentiments are just that: *subsidiary*, and
therefore, largely irrelevant for *most* of the WG. This point has
not been effectively stressed.
