Candidate in ICANNATLARGE.COM Interim Panel Election April 2002

I would like to thank those who have nominated me for this Supervisory Panel responsibility.

I am very busy with the Board of Trustees and the Cameroonian Chapter of ISOC as well as with SchoolNet Africa and SchoolNet Cameroon.

However, the AtLarge voice on ICANN is a very important task for which everyone must make time, when accorded the opportunity to do so. The best way to make sure that others make the decisions for us and only in their own interest is to do nothing and sit quietly while things are being done. If we do that, we have no right to complain that things are not being done the way we want them done. By accepting this nomination, I recognise that there will be a lot of work to do, but I am willing to release the time to do so, because it is an honour for me to be part of this group.

So, I accept the nomination and declare that I will be willing to serve if elected.
