Not to pick nits, but not all of us use, or have access to, Windows or
Macintosh-based MicroSoft-branded word processors.

Will emacs or vi suffice as a word processor?  I could even attach the
resulting textfile as MIME-encapsulated, so you don't have to cut and
paste.
