In general, I agree with Ellen's viewpoint.

However I am not aware of any mechanism to register a single global
trademark, so I doubt a gTLD of ".TMK" is of any practical use.
Perhaps ".TMK.US" would be more useful for a trademark registered in the
USA?

Create the ".TMK" gTLD *after* we have the means to register a global
trademark.

Please keep country-specific issues out of the global domain name space.
