Actually, ISP dial-up access is astonishingly reasonable, there, but that
isn't the point. They also use cybercafe arrangements far more heavily
than we do in the states, thereby greatly reducing the entry barrier.
Remember that a domain name is a key to Internet "presence".
And I was not trying to draw an analogy but, rather, to highlight different
perspectives on cost.
DNS administration should not be subsidized, but neither should it serve as
a source of excessive profits just because many people won't suffer from
that excess.
We need to attend to the likelihood that others WILL suffer from it.
