The paper is a very good demonstration of the reason that it is far better
to debate a detailed proposal than it is to debate general ideas.
The paper entirely misses the fact that the root of the DNS defines a name
space and that an independent root will define an independent name space.
It is correct that there is no technical reason that the net cannot have
multiple name spaces,
However supporting multiple spaces ensures divergence (non-overlap) and
collisions (ambiguity due to multiple occurrences.). In other words, the
name spaces will be partitioned and users of one space will not be able to
resolve users of the other.
