Thank you for that constructive and salient comment.  However, since I held 
the pen and managed the decision process that created the IAHC list of 
names, and since I was editor of the IAHC report, my opinion was not quite 
so random and you indicated.  My phrasing was intended as a form of 
politeness, just in case there have been important changes in the POC 
position.

To the extent that you really do care about wasteful distractions, there 
are a number of other changes that you might consider making.
