[wg-c] Re: MHSC Position Paper (unavailable), and your comments

The off-list correspondence between myself and Mr. Meyer on the subject
of argued defects in the Crispin proposal terminated prior to reaching
the factual basis for the claims. After an inital exchange of views, Mr.
Meyer declined to respond on the technical and factual issues, and of
course the current WG-C process places no burden on any member of the
WG to clarify or retract unsubstantiated claims.

As a place holder in case the subject arises from another, more sincere
concern, the questions abandoned are: 

	1. the mechanisms relating to the stability of the TLD namespace,
	in the assumption that nameserver failure will occur from time to
	time, by accident or design,

	2.  the policys relating to the above mechanisms, the operator
	next rule and the data recovery rule,

This comment serves simply to notice this list that a discussion ended
without substantive discussion or issue resolution, or progress beyond
the initial assertion of a claim to fact and proof issues.
