No, just without regard for what are, in essence, false claims that this
would lead to operational stability (we already have over 240 TLDs),
ubiquity and usability. Third level domain registries have been operating
for years, some with over 150,000 third level domain registrations in
their registries, and they receive a large amount of traffic. Had your
claims been accurate, users would not have understood the difference
between a third level domain website, or a second level domain website.
Not to mention that a number of ccTLDs offer global registration, and
users don't seem to have a problem there either.
I would really love to see where you got your data from before I consider
it something to be taken seriously enough to delay new TLDs, as what I see
in REAL USE and PRACTICE seems to contradict this.
