i stated the principle some months ago.  it is perfectly legitimate to
dissent.  imiho, dissent needs extreme consideration (yes, i gave to the
aclu when they defended the nazi's right to march in skokie).  but when one
person's actions prevent others from legitimate discussion, it is society's
responsibility to prevent that disruption.

jeff williams is filtered from many ietf lists.  he ranted and screamed.  he
threatened to call al gore, police, commerce, his mommy, etc., and probably
sent his sicko email to all of them, hundreds of copies.  he was ignored and
continues to be ignored.  no one will take his threats seriously.  serious
people have serious work to do.

procmail is your friend.

and, if you don't/can't use a mail filter, please have the sense to not hit
reply to mail from sickos.
