Re: [wg-review] Preparation for Nominations for the WGco-chair elections
Re Co-chairing, thanks for the nomination Joop but I would have to decline. Mainly because both YJ and I are in the same (non-commercial) constituency. It would be better to have a co-chair from another constituency. I would suggest Peter de Blanc, but he, like YJ, is on the names council and the co-chair ought not to be. Is Greg Burton in the registrar constituency? If so, I'd nominate him.

Dear WG subscribers,
Jan 1 - Jan 5 : Candidate Nomination
Jan 6 - Jan 10 : Campaign
Jan 11 - Jan 14 : Election
Jan 15 : Formal Announcement of Review WG Co-chair
We can adhere to this schedule.
In order to prepare the Polling Booth for a list of Nomination options,
below I have listed the names of all WG subscribers.
Some are pseudonyms.
To facilitate the preliminary round of nominations I would like to ask all
list subscribers who definitely do NOT want to be nominated for the position
of co-chair of this WG to email me privately in the next 24 hours. I will
remove them from the list that will be posted to the Polling Booth.
Pseudonym subscribers who DO want to be candidates, please also email me
privately with your real Name, so that the list can be corrected.
In the meantime, volunteering and nominations are welcome and helpful, but
they need to be repeated on the Polling Booth website once the candidate
names are up and the listmembers receive a message from the Booth with their
unique password.
The Booth will allow all listmembers to check on the vote tabulation in
real-time.
Candidates for the election will be those who gather more than 5 nomination
votes.
The Booth will be set to allow you to nominate as many candidates as you like.
