Nominations and Proposals

I would like to nominate Kent Crispin as the head of the WG
"Consensus Education Program". His use of consensus to manipulate
groups to get his way and effect "progress" towards having his
agenda enacted proves that he is the expert in this matter. We can
all learn much from him.

I further propose that this WG continue debating methods and
procedures for determining consensus and/or voting online, until
January 15th. This will avoid the difficult and unpleasant task of
changing anything in the DNSO, and at the same time requite this
group as having done a splendid job, for which their superiors in
the NC and the Board will be duly thankful.

As an afterthought, I also propose that the budding bureaucrats on
this mail list, who delight in making lists of topics and organizing
lengthy proposals and agendas and all that lovely-looking officious
stuff, be awarded the ICANN Order of Merit for their assistance in
muddying the waters and distracting everyone from the real issues.
