Michael, 

I have not read every registrar Agreement out there, but this is the only one I've run across which uses the term "owner" to describe the relation of the 
Registrant to a given domain.  If you know of others, I'd like to read them.

P.S.  I don't think I said that I was "proud" of ICANN... in fact I'm certain I didn't.  I'm many things about ICANN, "proud" is not one of them.  Although I'd 
like to be... if they were to fly straight, I just might be.
