Personally I view it as a purchasing the right to use the domain name
for a set period of time providing the conditions agreed to when
registering the domain name are adhered to. That is what I agreed to
when registering all the domains I currently control. The system we
currently operate under reserves the right to withdraw our rights to
any domain. They do so if they consider a domain registration was
done in bad faith or infringes on the rights of others. I do not
condone the interpretation placed on domain registrations by some
rulings under the URDP, but I am bound to abide by such rulings at the
present time. I wish the situation was different but it isn't. We
may be able to change this but I consider it will be a long process
and certainly not within the bounds of this working group given the
limited time available.
