I'm glad you are offended, now if it were only an ad-hominem... you remind me
of some other that whined about ad-hominems... now let me see...
Now gosh, if I were only important enough to have a hateful personal tyranny -
the first tyrannical thing I'd do is - do away with the government-supported
television and radio bureaucracy that started me on my campaign of hateful
tyranny... interesting that you think I support governmental foolishness when
its the one thing I've been fighting against these last months.
Its been a core of dedicated individuals and small organisations convincing
government that its a good idea to protect privacy (over the long-continued USG
pressure, which has not been insignificant). The laws regarding cookies (and
the lack of them regarding encryption) are a result of that effort. An effort
of German individuals and companies large and small protecting their rights -
entities that _you_ tried to smear with your German ad-hominems.
The German data-encryption industry profusely thanks the US Government and its
long-time pig-headedness for its internationally-exported cottage industry,
which services such big-ticket clients as Deutsche Bank. Another case of 'if
the customer wants something, they will find a supplier somewhere...' Is that
German governmental foolishness? Perhaps from a US centric viewpoint such as
yours, I guess it was...
And anyone that knows me knows I'm not in any way in favour of any governmental
foolishness, not even of the ICANN foolishness. You have got me seriously mixed
up with someone else.
