Yes and No.  Not that such a meeting is desirable but the fact of the
matter is that
it ends up usually very private.  In California it is usually court
initiated, and
that means that some type of legal process must be initiated, sad but
true, you can't
ask a court to demand something until you have brougt the sides within
it's
jurisdiction.
This is acedemic in so much as this process must not rule my fiat but by
reliability,
access and economics.

Let's see there are about ten percent of judges that understand online,
and 100% of
the clerks who really run things know all about it because that is where
they get
their research.  So online court stuff is kind of like Custer, let us
ride down there
and find out.
