Now, you are really going to like this one.

I suggest that votes should be used (if people can't be bothered voting,
that is their problem, and, I believe that Joop has put alot of work
into developing an equitable and practical voting system), and, that
summarising comments and minority opinions, should also occur. That way,
the proceedings of the working group should be covered about as
comprehensively as possible, in an "Executive Summary" style, for each
issue.

If you then want to take this as a vote, regarding which method should
be used, then, my vote is yes to each, and, to the unmentioned third
option (Both of the above), my vote is also yes (Three votes for the
price of one). As to the fourth option (None of the above), my vote is
no.

Confused? Seems simple to me... :)

I believe that "multilingualism" is just a distraction, and, a means of
abuse of communication. To communicate in a single common language,
English, with a vocabulary that is simple, clear and unambiguous, and,
lacking in jargon and slang, results in the same words going to
everyone, and, minimising misunderstandings. The intricacies of the
various languages that exists in the world, and, the myriad of different
languages, can lead to misinterpretations and misconstructions, and, the
possibility of deliberate misrepresentations, in translations. I suggest
that it is much more important, to ensure that acronyms, jargon, and
pretentious use of unnecessarily complex words, are avoided, and, that
the usage be simple, clear, and unambiguous.

I have already, previously, stated my objections to the use of multiple
languages, and, the response of the list, was to publish messages in
languages other than English, to deliberately exclude my participation.
That, in itself, is a good enough reason, to make communications be
performed in the single, common, language of English, apart from my
other stated reasons.

Also, can the chairs PLEASE get the list administrator to reconfigure
the mailing list, so that replies to messages posted on the mailing
list, default to the mailing list, and, not to the poster of the
message, to which the reply is being made?

Sotiris and the chairs have already seen my reasons for this simple, yet
practical, request.
