[wg-review] Letter to Board Members

To all,

I have sent the following message to every member of the ICANN Board, and
have already received replies that indicate that this issue will be
examined:

Dear ICANN Board member:

Recent action by the Names Council of the DNSO to prematurely terminate the
life of the Review Working Group should be a matter of utmost concern to
you.  At a time when ICANN activities are coming under increased scrutiny,
any such actions, which reinforce the impression of a whitewash, should not
be condoned; they will not serve the best interests of the Corporation.  We
members of the Review WG are working hard to offer you a critical assessment
of the DNSO; we are actively formulating both procedural and structural
recommendations ... we do not wish to have our efforts terminated midstream;
we are here to help, and we need your help to fulfill our mandate.
