I want to thank all who contributed to this difficult subject. I believe that
my conclusions will somehow include all the thoughtful comments. It is my
pleasure to work with such thoughtful people. I had a wonderful conversation
with my teenage son tonight. He related as he corresponded with his older
sister, away at college in Flagstaff Arizona, through the net he could not stop
writing - a sentence became a paragraph - and then a page. Through simple
enjoyable practice he will become better and better. In speaking with bilingual
educators and basic programs teachers I found the same comment on failure, they
learn it but then they do not practice and so they lose it. It would seem that
the problem of education is universal and solves itself with application.

Sincerely,
