[wg-review] NC input

Respected NC Members,

In response to the request of the BoD (as per
Resolutions 01.28 & 01.29) for
proposals/recommendations towards an improvement
upon the current DNSO framework and/or function,
the WG-Review is actively seeking your input in
its discussions pertaining to the formulation of a
consensus-based report on possible restructuring,
reorganization, or improvements to the status quo
of the DNSO as a whole. As any such
considerations would likely include proposed
modifications or alterations to the Names Council
itself, and in light of the consensus-based
orientation of the WG-Review, it falls upon me to
invite the Members of the current NC to take an
active part in the discussions on these and
related matters. We welcome any contributions,
concerns, propositions, or ideas that each of you
may have to offer on the current, and any
forthcoming proposals within these deliberations.

To date, we have had two general outlines
submitted by Members of the WG. The proposal
submitted by Jefsey Morfin
[http://www.dnso.org/wgroups/wg-review/Arc02/msg03039.html],
and that of Darryl "Dassa" Lynch
[http://www.worldatlarge.org/dassa.html - exact
DNSO archive reference is forthcoming]. Your
input with respect to either or both of these
outlines is of interest to all Members of the WG.
Of course, any other proposals which may be added
to the existing discussion are also welcome. We
are actively trying to identify and establish a
spectrum of common ground amongst all the
stakeholders of the current DNSO; a genuine
consensus-based WG report on these matters
includes your input and ideas. Anything less
would not be true consensus. We urge each of you
to take an active role in our current discussion.

Sincerely,

Sotiris Sotiropoulos
	Working (Interim) Chair, WG Review
