Re: [wg-review] Education and the GA
After watching the debate rage over in the GA. I note that while my last
post was a little to cynical, the situation which precipitated it has
evolved into a beautiful thing and I would suggest reading the list of over
the last 20 or so hours to anyone, I mean anyone. It should be published
and used the world over in Intellectual Civics classes.
Candidates views are becoming very well known. Experts are lending
historical insight. Issues are being analyzed. No one seems to have time
for nastiness or the inclination to alienate anyone. There is a sense of
urgency and importance. This is truly educational and it makes me think
that some forums where this type of exchange can occur should built into any
educational model.
The problem is you cannot plan this anymore than a good party, it is a
result of synergism that cannot be planned.
However it may result in the best outreach ever and should be studied.
Sincerely,
