RE: [wg-review] Final Draft on constituency recommendation
Joanna, I am a lawyer. One of my clients is a member of the ISPCP
constituency and I occasionally represent them in such matters. Would that
mean I have a conflict? If so, would you elaborate on what the conflict of
interest is? I understand the concern, but I am not convinced that it rises
to a conflict of interest. In addition, a quick look at the DNSO website
shows that some folks participated in self-organizing efforts in more than
one constituency during the self-organizing phase of the current 7
recognized constituencies. Also, the disclosure rule should help keep the
process fair and open. Consequently, I am unsure a rule of exclusion is
necessary, but I am certainly open to hearing a counterpoint on that.
