I have had a quick read of the five GA chair election proposals. A
combination of ideas is going to be best and there are many good ideas
within the proposals.

Fraud
I direct the NC's attention to the proposal (or suggestion) by Jonathan
Weinburg as has a pragmatic solution to voter fraud. If it works then it is
an attractive idea.

Vote system
I see no need for a preference vote system (of one proposal) for the GA. The
process is only to put forward names. Lets keep it simple.

Statement of views
Two proposals called for this necessary process. (Ignore my earlier mail to
NC on this topic).

Support
The idea used in Board elections to insist on at least 10 supporters is
proposed. This seems like a good idea.
