[council] DNSO elections to the ICANN Board

Danny,
as you know we will now hold rounds 1 and 2 of the election at Montevideo.
The rationale for this is to maximise time for contact with the candidates.
I am conscious also that not all 5 will be in Montevideo.

If you agree I would like to hold hustings - a chance to meet in person or
by telephone - all candidates on the DNSO day (Sat 8 September) and this
seemed a role suited to the GA.  I was thinking of a 90 minute slot from say
11.30 - 13.00 allowing a 5 min address by each candidate, 10 mins of
questions and a buffer of 15 minutes.

Do you think this is a good idea and are you able to accommodate this within
the GA agenda for the morning? (I am leaving for holidays tonight and will
try to touch base with e-mail). However, if you think it is a goer let
Elisabeth and Louis know so that they can make arrangements. (For the phone,
I suggest we would have the conference room dial out to the candidates not
in Montevideo, who would then be heard by the hall over loudspeaker.)
