[council] Timeframes of ToR of TF on Structure
Philip and all members of the TF on Structure:
Although I am not in the TF on Structure, I have a question:
Why the deadline to submit comments regarding ALSC and other subjects is
January 31, 2002 when
the ICANN Board resolved the following:
"Further resolved [01.126] that the Board invites comments on the ALSC
Final Report from the Internet
community as a whole, including the DNSO Names Council, the ASO Address
Council and the PSO
Protocol Council, and requests that any such comments be submitted
within 45 days from the date of this
Resolution;"
From November 15, 2001 to January 31, 2002 there are more than 45 days
(more than 60 days in fact).
Although the Names Council submited already a resoltion about ALSC, my
understanding it was about the general
principles proposed in the ALSC, and still remained the issues about
implementation proposed by ALSC that I understand that
we will to discuss here, and that this is the input we have to provide
in less than 45 days.
So I suggest to the TF on Structure members that take in count that the
real deadline for submitting comments on ALSC issue
is around December 29, if we count 45 days counting the date of the
ICANN Board resolution indicates, unless you tell me that they had
substracted the holidays and weekends, but I don't see any references to
"working days" or "calendar days".
Thank a lot in advance for the consideration of this suggestion.
Best Regards
Vany
