RE: [council] More meddling by BC reps
Danny, I think there was some misunderstanding about who named the interim.
I could certainly not do that for anyone.
I meant that you, [GA, whichever constituency], could name the designee
until you completed your election. However, just to ensure that the GA has
time to complete your election, how about the following idea: 1) Please let
me know how long you will need to complete the election, 2) and in the
interim, I will just post to you, as the GA chair, to distribute to the GA
so that all are informed.
Can you let me know if that is an acceptable approach for the GA so that you
have sufficient time?
Marilyn

Subject: [council] More meddling by BC reps
Please be advised that the GA is in the process of electing representatives
to the transfers task force.
This election was occasioned by the resignation of the GA Chair that
expressed his disgust with continuing efforts of the BC representative to
deny full representation to the registrant community within the Transfers
TF.
The BC Interim Chair has written: "IF your constituency can't name someone
by Friday, Dec. 7, please let me know, and we will arrange a designee until
you complete your appointment process."
The GA will not complete its election process by Dec. 7, and will not accept
any Interim designee selected by this BC Interim Chair, as we have had
enough
of the meddling of BC reps in the internal affairs of others.
