Actually, there are at least three different groups trying to get organized
and to begin the constituency process. Hopefully, they will eventually form
an umbrella group of some kind to petition for constituency status. Jeff,
Joop, William, Andy, and many more folks have gotten involved in one or the
other of them - and despite Jeff's comment, there is more internal
wrangling than simply "X dislikes Y for reason Z".
My personal preference would be for NO agenda item to deal with this until
November, so as to give the various groups a chance to work out their
differences and come to a joint proposal. This may be idealistic, and even
unreasonable, but it seems to me most in line with a "bottom-up consensus
driven" process.
