But that's not the point.

The point is that before speaking FOR the GA, as an assembly, he needs
to make damn sure that in fact he is expressing the consensus of the
GA.

I'm not saying >>I<< disagree with what he said.

But before he claims to speak FOR me, that needs to be solicited.
A lack of posted opposition is not sufficient to justify it.

Until the consensus is actually gauged, he is speaking only for
himself and those, like yourself, who expressly say they agree with
him.

Until the process is followed, and a consensus of the GA is actually
gauged, he CANNOT give a statement "from the GA."
