Hello Joanna,
For what it is worth, I fully agree. Having done some checking of my
own into his relationship with Register.com when it was first
mentioned prior to the election, I see no issue with this. While I
may disagree with Danny on many things, and am very critical of what I
see as a complete lack of leadership from him since becoming Chair,
any accusation that he is acting in conflict because of his
employment, or that he has been hiding any potential conflict, are
baseless.
Also, I fully agree with Andy's comments about Register.com and their
policies as well. This company's actions and policies are
anticompetitive and harmful to registrants. NSI is painted with the
same brush.
The only consolation is that Register.com is quickly losing ground in
the domain registration numbers to other more progressive registrars.
