There is not distinction. A TLD is a TLD. Whom or whatever entity
is not relevant.

Again this argument although well sounding is not relevant and according to
Stuart Lynn is outside the scope of ICANN's Mandate or contractual
obligations to DOC/NTIA. They are competitors and I assume are
also inclusive. As such, the TLD's they may create is not within ICANN's
influence to mandate, but they could work together WITH other registries
such XTNS if they so choose to. So far, like New.Net, the ICANN
BoD has not done so. It appears that you support that. Is that
correct? If so, than it would seem that as a BoD candidate you
are missing the point of the DOC letter to ICANN regarding this
type of situation....

Well not so far. Looks like XTNS is just like New.Net. And New.Net
has over 16m registrations thus far. That is hardly a prelude to
"gobbledegook".. But to each his/her own poison I suppose...
